Weekend trip - continued

We were moving from one village to another by foot. This was 20 km altogether
We did make many stops and enjoyed ourselves

Finally we reached Ellie where we stayed overnight. Ellie is a huge beach surrounded by few houses
On Sunday morning locals come to the beach to build sand castles. Some even swim

Weekend trip

So this weekend we went to visit four villages not far away from Edinburgh. All four looked like this
We are happy because 1) the weather is good 2) the sea smells nice 3) we are going to have ice-cream
Some of us overexcited
Now Gregory found a sea star (but it ceased long before it)
A local man telling us about fishing
It's Saturday but fishermen are on duty
All  the other  inhabitants of the village seem to be at home

It's all about art

Dutch are still into art. This is from Rijksmuseum

Any art counts in Holland, actually

Dutch milk also contains some art
By the end of the trip we could spot art anywhere

This is what we are bringing home from Holland...

not to forget three crashed fingers - the Dad's, the Mom's, and Gregory's (yep, the door on the boat was a bit faulty)

Queen's Day

It's a Queen's Day and we are mooring in Gouda
Gouda is a small town with patriotic inhabitants
The largest and the most vibrant flea market ever seen. Everything which is not sold by afternoon
(prices are ridiculously low) would be thrown away in a huge waste bin straight away
Pantomimes and music here and there

Most Dutch cats are fat and narcissistic. But they do help their owners to run the businesses
Dogs in Amsterdam wear strange body  jewellery and eat apples
